Lie the stories of the soldiers and grunts.
From the young gunner in the shit
To the General militant
Gettin tired of a state that belittle them.
So they take to the food that been given them
Step away from the table if you ain't chippin in.
Gotta fire in the belly that ain't buring out
Time stands for the moment when you're truly proud. 

Please believe that I live life like a dream
The vividest images that I've never seen
Can't be late like a little past half to three
I'm a king always chasin to find a queen

Takes a moment to see where you want to be
But a lifetime to see who you really can be
So I get what I can while there's air to breathe
