Always BCC a Mass Email!

If you are looking for a surefire way to dramatically lose subscribers and anger your fans look no further than where you put their email addresses when you message them. If you fail to BCC the address and put them in the CC or (gulp) SEND TO, you will not only expose everyone's email to each other but open up the whole list to a barrage of angry reply all messages. 

This is such an obvious mistake but it's amazing how often people make it.

I saw this mistake perpetrated yesterday by a start-up media company. Not only did hundreds of people reply with unsubscribe requests but several negative discussions regarding the company's emails in the first place. I can only image that the damage done to that company is enormous.

So please, for your sake and ours, ALWAYS BCC a mass email.
